Mike X Cohen

Neuroscientist, teacher, writer

I am an associate professor of neuroscience at the Radboud University (Netherlands). My research lab uses cutting-edge neuroscience methods to measure electrical brain activity, and we apply advanced multivariate signal processing and machine-learning data analysis methods to make sense of all the data! I have written several textbooks on scientific programming in MATLAB, signal processing, and statistics.

I’m also a big believer in the importance of continued professional-level education. The focus of my teaching is hands-on data analysis and scientific programming in MATLAB and Python.
