(EBG) the publisher of the oldest weekly print and subsequently online, community newspaper focused on the African American communities of Nassau and Suffolk Counties. At its peak the newspaper included two branded news magazines; 1) Village Life an arts and entertainment magazine and 2) The Long Island Gospel News Journal which focused on the gospel. EBG has also published over 60 manuscripts on fiction and Christian living most are available on Amazon.com.

Creator of the School for Child Care Governance and the School for Non-Profit Leadership. Three online (with Udemy.com, teachable.com and Simpliv.com) self-study platforms focused on Non-profit Board Member risk and responsibilities and child care facility management and leadership.

As a private practice small business financial and management consultant for 25 years, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table, particularly in the areas of financial management, strategic planning, project management, financial analysis, time management and organization, as well as outreach and marketing in both the non-profit and for profit sectors.

I am computer literate and have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Professional Office, Desktop Publishing, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation software to name a few.

My finance and commercial lending career, spanned some seventeen years, and has provided me with a wide range of professional experiences. Some of which are highlighted in my detailed resume. To overview that phase of my life I must say that I have had the opportunity to have worked in both operational and corporate environments within the banking industry. I should also note that I have worked in both the commercial and savings bank sectors of the financial services industry as well. I have managed loan portfolios of upwards of fifty million dollars ($50,000,000.00) comprising of as many as 40 separate open and active demand and borrowing account relationships. Each account relationship required from time to time; restructuring, audit, collection, client servicing and new product introduction. I have approved and or recommended a wide variety of business credit facilities including: SBA loans, Lease Financing, Lines of Credit, Secured and Unsecured Working Capital loans, long term commercial mortgages and renovations loans.

During my career I have worked for FedEx starting out as a Part Time Package Handler then quickly advancing to On-Road Manager with a workgroup of 30 men and women.

Earlier in my career I managed a commercial banks credit and loan administration department with a staff of 8. During that period, I developed and administered the banks first credit and lending training program for selected retail bank branch managers. Prior to that I worked as an assistant retail bank branch manager in full charge of all day to day branch operations, which included responsibilities for the facility, teller staff, customer service personnel and all cash management activities of a Long Island, New York branch office.

Lastly, I have held a state of New York, insurance license to sell Life and Health Insurance as well as a license to sell Residential Real Estate.

Please note that I am a Vietnam Era Veteran. I hold a Master’s degree in Banking, Finance and Investment from Hofstra University, New York.

I offer a strong analytical background coupled with a multitude of professional  experiences, which I believe, makes me a uniquely versatile and capable executive, director, manager or administrator. I have taught in both Adult College and University environments, as an Adjunct Professor at The New School of New Rochelle, Bronx New York, teaching Small Business Management (1999 to 2004), also taught New Media Communications, Introduction to the Stock Market in 2018 and currently teaching Introduction to Public Administration (2019).

Additional worked as an instructor in the Adult Education program at Hofstra University responsibilities included the development of several Continuing Education Small Business Courses. I’ve also proffered Micro and Macro Economics at Nassau Community College, Garden City New York.
