Financial Analyst / Business & Finance Instructor
I became interested in energy markets when I first studied for an online course (offered by Duke University) on the Oil and Gas Industry.
The interest soon turned into a passion as I kept going deeper into the subject to the point it became an obsession and I came to the point that I wanted to specialize in energy markets. This new-found passion led me to discovering the Energy Risk Professional certification offered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
As I started studying the certification curriculum I was fascinated by it's width and depth. I later found out that the certification was considered the equivalent of a masters program in many western countries. I was hooked.
Although, i have been studying the energy markets for a little over 3 years now and have learnt a lot, however, I still do feel like there is so much more to learn and grow.
I guess that's my "always keep growing" mindset at work here which honestly is something I live for. I would humbly invite you to do the same and adopt this policy of perpetual growth.
For those curious about my academic & professional background;
I have been studying business and finance for over 13 years now and have been a professional financial analyst / investment adviser to high net worth individuals since 2013.
I have a Bachelors of Science in Computing and an MBA (finance). I have also passed 2 of the 3 Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams offered by CFA Institute (USA).
