Ans:AMI, which expands to Amazon Machine Image, is a template that provides the information (an operating system, an application server and applications) that is needed to launch an instance. This is a copy of the AMI running as a virtual server in the cloud. The option of launching instances from as many different AMIs as you need is given in AMI.

Q10) What all are included in an AMI?
