This course provides a good introduction to research and offers sufficient guidance for bachelor and, possibly masters degree students. However, it omits some of the finer points that would be applicable for terminal degree candidates. For students at academic institution, it might be helpful to introduce the Institutional Review Board (IRB) review process and why it is important. Perhaps a bit of copy editing would improve the download documents and the on screen text. There typos on some of the slides and in the handouts. Lastly, there sequencing errors on the title pages of some of the download documents; Module 1 downloads are titled 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.3, 1.4, and 1.6; Module 5 downloads are labeled 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, and 5.4.
