This series of programs will give leaders new skills and tools that will help them influence others at work. Global Workforce Innovator Laura Goodrich and CEO, Author, and Researcher Sarah Sladek will explore how leaders in the modern day workforce can act to attract, retain and inspire early talent, which is the foundation for teams that all generations are drawn to.

  • Microlearning 1: Time Changes Everything  

    They will learn what causes unconscious focus and what influences it. They will also begin the process of separating what they can and cannot control. 

  • Microlearning 2: White Out  

    Sometimes you have to have pain to force the action to change.

  • Microlearning 3: Fax  

    You want to be an effective leader, but it is difficult to connect with some people. Become aware of what you want in situations small to large.

  • Microlearning 4: Ben  

    Don't. Won't. Can't. Is this really what you want? Perhaps you're sending the wrong message and you don't even realize you are doing it. Listen to Ben's story to become aware of your unintentional focus on outcomes you do not want.

  • Microlearning 5: Seeing Red Car  

    You get more of whatever you focus on! We describe this as the 'Seeing Red Cars' mindset. Discover how you can focus on the outcomes you want.

  • Microlearning 6: Freak-out  

    Can change become something that is not feared, but desire? . 

  • Microlearning 7: What is Holding You Back?  

    Change begins with focusing on what you want, so let's focus on what you want to change here. Users fill out a toolkit exercise to determine what is holding them back.

  • Microlearning 8: The Wheel  

    You complete the wheel based on your own skills, talents, and practices and assess your personal effectiveness, at this point in time in several categories.

  • Microlearning 9: I Want Statements  

    You create an assessment of what you need to become an effective leader by filling in the toolkit exercise. The take away is a guide in the form of an “I want statement” to guide you to a well rounded leader.

  • Microlearning 10: The Bridge  

    Now we will take it one step further and drill down to your top priorities in the coming year — your 'must haves'. This will give you clear priorities around which you can build a plan to drive purposely toward what you want.
