Chess Fundamentals
  • Capture  

    After completing the lecture a student will get an insight of the captures that happens over a game of chess.It gives a great understanding of the rules of capturing and mainly which piece to capture first. Capturing is one of the key fundamentals in chess.

  • Defense  

    After going through the lecture a student learns the correct technique of protecting its pieces from the attack of the opponent.The KEBS idea is really important and they can implement it in their games. Its also gives an insight about the safe and unsafe squares.

  • Combat - Part One  

    In this lecture you will be get a complete understanding of the idea of defend and then capture. In other words it is utmost important to always defend or safeguard your own pieces first and then look out for capturing opponents pieces. The students will get an complete overview of this whole concept which he will be able to implement in his games.

  • Combat - Part Two  

    As you complete this lecture you will get the insights of how to combat in complex positions.


King's Landing
  • The Check  

    The King being the most important piece on board we should always look out for ways to check or attack it.After going through this lecture a student can get a clear idea of how to attack the King and the different ways associated with it.

  • Defending the King  

    When the King is attached or under check it has to be answered immediately. This lecture gives a thorough overview to the students of the different ways to defend a check,which are killing the piece giving a check,escaping to a safe square and blocking the check. These are the  vital form of defense which they will be aware while playing a game.

  • Checkmate in One  

    Check Mate is the ultimate situation when the king is under Check and has no square to escape,cannot kill the attacker nor can block the check.When the King gets Checkmated,the game ends there. After going through the lecture a student will be aware of the various patterns a CM can happen and can implement the same in their games.

Gameplay
  • Board Setup  

    A chess game starts after we arrange the white and black pieces on their respective squares. The lecture will help the student to place the pieces on the squares where they belong before we start a game. This is also called as Board Setup.

  • Piece Value  

    The lecture will help the student to understand that each piece is allotted a value which is measured in points.They get a clear idea of the right exchanging of the pieces during game play to get more points. 

  • Gameplay  

    A  Chess Game is divided into Opening,Middle Game and End Game.The lecture clearly helps the student to understand the opening aspect of the game and the three golden rules which they should follow while playing. This will generally make them play a better opening and build their confidence.

  • Sample Game
